Václav Strýhal

Václav Strýhal has a track record of fifteen years of managerial practice in commercial and investment banking, of which more than nine years heading Financial Institutions and Securities divisions of
Bank Austria Creditanstalt, today UniCredit Bank. Then, he served as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of CRA Rating Agency (resp. Moody‘s Central Europe).

His relevant experience includes comprehensive management of relationships with, and services for, the world’s largest commercial and investment banks (Lloyds TSB Bank, CIBS Oppenheimer, Garban Europe, Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi, Nordea) in Central and Eastern Europe and provision of global investment services for major domestic financial institutions. His responsibilities included the system of assessing the financial standing/credit rating of foreign and domestic financial institutions and preparation of syndicated bank loans and/or participation in syndicated loans for domestic and foreign companies/financial institutions.
At IB Standard, Václav Strýhal was also responsible for M&A and structured finance projects for Lumen International group, Fezko, investor group led by PCTC Management (acquisition of Strunal), CAC Leasing, Miele, Spolchemie, Trifid International/ C.S. Cargo Holding.
Václav Strýhal graduated from the Commerce and Business Faculty in Karviná and his MBA was conferred on him by Nottingham Trent University, UK. He is a long-standing member of the Czech National Bank’s (SEC Section) Appeal Committee. He is fluent in German and English.
Robert Vizvári

Robert Vizvári has more than 12 years of management experience from different management levels in Slovak and foreign companies. Between 1995 and 2000 he worked in marketing area of telecommunication a biotechnological companies with local (Alcatel Slovakia) and regional responsibilities (Monsanto ČR/SR). Prior to joining IB Standard he worked for 7 years in private equity funds. He was responsible for projects in high-tech (Flight simulator s.r.o.), recycling (Gevos, V.O.D.S. EKO, Sledge Slovakia) as a board member.

Before joining IB Standard he acted as a Business Development Director for CEE in Northcliffe International. His role included research and implementation of investment opportunities in e-commerce and media.
At IB Standard, he is responsible for Slovakia, especially on acquiring investment opportunities. Currently has been leading a sale side project of a major print media.

Renáta Buckle

Renáta Buckle has more than 12 years experience in financial markets. She has started her career at Orco real estate developer as an analyst, followed by engagement at regional securities broker Wood & Co. where she was responsible for the Czech, Slovak, later Polish and Ukrainian markets from operational point of view (custody). Prior to joining IB Standard Renáta Buckle worked for 8 years in Commerzbank AG, Prague branch, first as a Head of Custody, later as a Project Manager of M&A transactions in Investment Banking Department.

There she took an active part in preparation and execution of several large mandates, as for example advisory to EnbW and Winteshall for their acquisitions of Czech utilities (gas, electricity production and distribution). She also acquired and led an advisory project for a sale of stakes in 5 textile companies: Veba, Jitex , Textilana, Slezan and Perla.
At IB Standard, Renáta Buckle has been leading projects including buy side and financing advisory for C.S. Cargo in Slovakia, sale side mandate of a Slovak print media leader, rating advisory to Postova banka, etc.
Mrs. Buckle holds a BA degree in economics and passed corporate valuation course at University of Economics in Prague (VSE). Renáta Buckle is currently working towards finishing her Master Degree in Law at Charles University. She is fluent in English and can communicate in German and Russian on an intermediate level.
Jan Müller

Jan Müller has over 17 years of experience in consulting (Holland Project Management), capital markets (Wood and Co., Commerzbank, Czech Securities Commission) and financial services (Citibank). He has a track record of conference speeches and community activities on capital market. Mr.Müller has been named among most progressive young leaders by the World Economic Forum in 1999.

Petr Beránek

Petr Beránek joined the IB Standard team in 2008. He has got more than 14 years of experience in corporate banking and financial markets. In that time he acted in a number of projects both in executive and managerial position at Živnostenská banka and later on at UniCredit Bank.

Between 1994 and 1998 he acted in capital markets focusing on new issues. He was concerned, as a member of arrangement team, in bond issue for ČEZ, a.s., which was in 1995 awarded „Emerging Market Bond Deal of the Year” by Euromoney. He also arranged soever the first domestic issue program of short term corporate notes for the company Transfinance. Since 1999 Petr was engaged in corporate banking aimed at project and structured financing and real estate financing. Beside others he arranged financing of PPP projects (mending and servicing of public lightning in Prague and other cities for the company Eltodo-Citelum, administration of power services in Praha-Motol Hospital for consorcium ECM and ABB) and of projects in power engineering (acquisition and reconstruction of MVE portfolio (small hydro power stations) for the company Energo Pro, at that time the greatest domestic operator of MVE).
Petr graduated from electrotechnic faculty of ČVUT (Czech Technical University) in the branch of economics and management of power engineering. Later on he passed series of specialized courses in Great Britain, Czech Republic and Belgium. He is fluent in English and Czech (mother tongue) and has passive knowledge of French and Russian.
Daniel Sojka

Daniel Sojka joined IB Standard in Mid-2007 as one of the senior advisers. Before joining IBS he worked as Senior Manager in Syndicated Loans and Structured Finance Department in Ceska sporitelna, a.s. From 2000 until 2006 Daniel Sojka worked at
Zivnostenska banka, a.s. as the Project Manager in Structured Finance Department. Within the scope of these projects the bank provided its clients with comprehensive services, mainly in area of acquisition and project financing.

Besides this role Daniel Sojka was also a project leader of a team composed of the bank employees and client in privatization of Czech energy and gas sectors.
At the beginning of his career in financial sector (1996 – 2000) Daniel Sojka worked in Komercni banka, a.s. where he managed bank’s participations in syndicated loans and synthetic syndications markets in CEE and Middle East area.

Radim Hlavačka

Before joining IB Standard Radim Hlavačka worked at the
Ministry of Industry and Trade initially in the European Integration Department, later in the Structural Funds Department. Radim Hlavačka has been with IB Standard for four years, mainly focusing on market research, company analysis, financial modelling and planning, indicative company valuation.
